2. What inspired you to become a stylist, and what do you love most about this industry?
I became a stylist because I wanted something that my corporate career wasn’t offering – to be creative. People said if I followed an artistic path, I’d starve. Well, I make wearable art and I’m not starving. (Always be suspicious of people who try to talk you out of a dream.) What I love most about this industry is making connections. I’ve been honored to listen to so many stories over the years. It’s helped me grow tremendously as a person.
3. If you weren’t in this career, what would you be doing instead?
I’d be an interior designer. I love creating spaces that feel good. It’s creative and powerful and playful – all at the same time. But I’m happy with my choice. I discovered that being an entrepreneur lights me up. It’s the ultimate creative endeavor.

Well, wine. And food. Good food and wine.
7. How do you like to spend your free time?
Time in nature, hiking/walking, and my little garden. Yoga, reading, writing, knitting, learning new skills (latest was weaving, next is tambour beading). And food and wine.
